- Open Outlook 2007.
- Click theTools menu, and selectAccount Settings...
- On theE-mail tab, clickNew...
- If you are prompted toChoose E-mail Service, selectMicrosoft Exchange,POP3,IMAP, orHTTP, and clickNext.
- Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information:
- SelectInternet E-mail and clickNext.
- Verify yourUser Information, and enter the following additional information:
- Click theMore Settings... button, and select theOutgoing Server tab.
- Check the box next toMy outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and selectUse same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click theAdvanced tab . In theOutgoing server (SMTP) box, enter 26
- ClickOK.
- ClickTest Account Settings... After receiving 'Congratulations! All tests completed successfully', clickClose.
- ClickNext, and then clickFinish.
Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
Email Address: Enter your full email addressusername@your-domain.co.nz
Password: Enter your email password.
Manually configure server settings or additional server types: tick this box
Server Information
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: mail.your-domain.co.nz
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.your-domain.co.nz
Logon Information
User Name: Enter your enter your full address in the formatusername@your-domain.co.nz
Password: Enter your email password.
Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): Leave this option unchecked.
